Why Did I Write A Book about Pre-Diabetes?
Actually, the name of the book is “How Long Do You Want To Live?, which may sound a tad alarmist and foreboding. However, so much of our health is within our control…it’s a shame to sabotage your health just because you don’t know the facts!
They used to think that the earth was flat. They used to believe that cigarettes are good for you. They used to think that if diabetes runs in your family, that you’re destined to get it too!
This is a case where knowledge really is power.
Physicians, largely due to managed care requirements, have less time to spend with patients than ever before. If you do receive a diagnosis of high blood sugar, physicians don’t have the time to engage in a long discussion about what to eat, what to avoid, or where to go from here.
That’s why I wrote the book. I wrote the book to give people some basic guidelines about what to do after receiving a diagnosis of pre-diabetes.
It’s not War and Peace…just a small book with seven simple steps to follow.
If you know someone who has this diagnosis, or simply wants to lose a little weight, send them to http://tinyurl.com/7zk236z.
